Take 2
*snaps the flip board*

The film intro is because this post in fact, is a second take as the original post I wrote yesterday mysteriously disappeared.*
But hey ho.

I assume some of you lovely readers have watched X-Men: Days if Future Past.
I have. And although I maintain that it was sick, I'm also not really sure because  truth be told, I didn't concentrate too tough when I watched it.
But purely because I am a hardcore X-Men fan, I stick with the idea that the film was amah-zung.

One thing that I did retain from the film and have absolutely no doubts over, is the Quicksillver scene, starring the sick and fit Evan Peters.

If you know what I'm talking about, then you know.
I beg, quickly YouTube it if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Back? Okay, thanks.
(It was so sick innit?!)

FREAKING AMAZING let me just get that out of the way first.
Like, when I literally sat up and was just memerised. I remember just wanting the rest of the film to be about Quicksilver and was even slightly offended that he hadn't been introduced before.

Questions as well as delight arose for me.
Number one being -
'How did they film that masterpiece?'

According to the trusty internet, for one, the set was super bright, apparently like looking at the sun, which is deep and a little dangerous but hey ho. Show business. Because high speed cameras called Phantoms (which shoot up to 3600 frames a second. !!), were used, the extra light was needed so the footage could actually be seen.

Evan Peters was filmed running on a treadmill type thing with wind being blown in his face, in order to achieve a ripple effect.

The scene was shot in different speeds - slow and normal - with the latter being for Quicksilver and the former, everything else.

They had a guy strapped up and literally running around the room - like on the walls.

Yo, hopefully I did it justice but I just wanted to show you guys how obsessed I am with this scene alone.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EuOWu_lYtUI this clip does a good job of explaining. They have some Singer guy (?) talking... I don't know, he's okay, seems to know what he's talking about. I guess.

*normally the fact that my post disappeared with have really mugged me off but I'm in a much more peaceful place in my life and could literally just be like ya know what God, help me write an even sicker post. And He did. So thanks.

*also I think the 'best scenes' is going to become a featurette on my blawg.
What do you guys think of it?
