Exams done.

Hair's out.
I'm feeling fresh.

It's been a year since LG popped up on your radar.
It's also the end of my first year at university.
Where does the time go?

I seriously thank God cos boy, one year, for both?!
He is good.

Blogging should be back on track now that uni is done. I plan to keep busy but also chill because, well, because it's summer.

So, some fun news guys - I'm volunteering at a film festival from this week which I'm excited for so I'll keep you all posted.

Seeing as my mind was opened up to a wider range of films this year, I thought I'd invite you to check out some films, old and new:
The 400 Blows Francois Truffaut (unexpectedly loved this little gem, it's funny and French and the lead is a right character that speaks to you whatever your culture)
Children of Men Alfonso Cuaron. (I've already mentioned this and how much I love it. Just watch it).
The Consequences of Love Paolo Sorrentino (this was a 'secret screening' for my exam and it ended up becoming one of my favourite films. Toni Servillo is amazing and rude and funny).
Mulhullond Drive David Lynch (guys this film. Guys this film is IT. This is the only film that I am okay with not completely understanding and normally that stuff does not sit well with my spirit but Lynch got me. He got me man).
Honourable mentions: Man on Wire, The Conversation, Howl's Moving Castle, Rebel Without a Cause.

And here are some TV shows:
• Sons of Anarchy still on season one but I will get to the end some day. You know when you discover an actor bae and you wanna watch everything they've been in? Yeah that's how I started this show. Watch it and you know who I'm about.
Empire I'm watching this show with the UK surpisingly instead of binge watching it but that's okay. I am loving this show and it lives up to the hype. The Lyons are crazy but you love them, the cast is on point, the show gets chuckles out of me and of course, the music is great. *spins and grabs mic to duet with Jamal and Hakeem* You're so beautiful, uh shake it, shake it.
• My Mad Fat Diary flipping love this show and it's back for the final (sob) season. I cried like all the time, nearly every episode, probably when it wasn't even sad but there's something about Rae's rawness that moves me. Deep.
Honourable mentions: The Mindy Project, New Girl (for Winston alone), The Goldbergs.

Enjoy your summer and stay wit God and stay blessed and stay chill because yes.
